Jasmine Thai Hom Mali Rice

1 cup of Royal® Jasmine Thai Hom Mali Rice
1¼ cups of water
1 tbsp. of oil/butter (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)
Stove Top: Rinse measured rice 1-2 times to remove extra starch, then drain. Pour 1¼ cups of water into saucepan and bring to boil. Add Royal® Jasmine Rice, oil and salt into boiling water and stir. Cover saucepan with lid, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed completely. Remove saucepan from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Serve.
Microwave: Combine 1 cup of Royal® Jasmine Rice in a microwave-safe dish with 1¾ cups of water, salt and oil/butter. Cover and microwave on medium for 10-15 minutes.* Allow rice to stand for 5 minutes.
